Why donate to this cause?
Every hour of everyday the effects of extreme poverty are devastating communities, families and especially children. Poverty has tragic effects on an entire country. It is like a cancer every day destroying a country’s economy, environment and society.
Over half of the children in orphanages are there because of poverty and its effects like malnutrition, homelessness, physical and mental illness, illiteracy, uneducated, unemployed, exploitation, hopelessness, abuse, crime, mistreatment, delinquency, drug addiction, human trafficking, socially outcast and more.
What is the Purpose of the donation?
Sustainable Family Communities provides hope, dignity and pride by creating income opportunities near the areas of extreme poverty.
Without income opportunities for workers, entire communities continue to live with the terrible effects of poverty. Families are unable to meet basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter.
The purpose of the donations is to eliminate poverty by creating jobs, with training, wages, benefits and ownership – a path out of poverty for the workers.
Where does my donation go?
Most “projects helping the impoverished” are giving charity, which fuels a cycle where people become dependent rather than independent. Once the charity has been given, the donors leave and the people they gave it to continue to live in poverty. Charity will never eliminate poverty, but jobs can.
You donation goes into a non-profit organization guiding a comprehensive, business-based system that exists to create poverty-eliminating jobs. At this time we are working with Mexico to build sustainable, large-scale, food-producing businesses that will then use 100% of the profits of every business for:
- Ongoing training and development for the workers and their families;
- Fostering creation of a new, small, poverty-free community near the businesses;
- Beginning at least one new business every year so more families can have a path out of poverty.
