Fund Raising Coordinator
A Fundraising Coordinator is a dynamic and creative fundraiser responsible for securing new sponsors and income, executing fundraising programs and events for O.F.O.C.
Reports to the Executive Director and works closely with all levels of the O.F.O.C. Team. The Fundraising Coordinator does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Is a great way to open up people to the idea of volunteering and help the less fortunate. Volunteer coordinator must have a keen eye for volunteers talents and be able to place them in a position that best suites the community that Sustainable Families hopes to create.
The voluntary position of the Promotions (PR) team member is to handle all promoting of O.F.O.C. and its events.
Posting press releases on numerous websites written and authorized by the Exec. Director, emailing out press releases to newspapers, TV, radio and all media sources. Following up with said media, help promote events with use of volunteers, social networking sites and chamber events.
Marketing Specialist Volunteer
Our Family Orphan Communities is currently assembling a team to re-evaluate and develop a marketing plan. This volunteer effort will be a great way for you to hone your marketing skills, develop your resume, and bring your experience and creativity to our program.
The Marketing Specialist volunteer is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of all of the organization’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. He/she oversees development and implementation of support materials and services in the areas of marketing, communications and public relations.
Responsible for writing proposals for both unrestricted operating revenue and restricted projects and for submitting timely and accurate reports for all existing grant funded projects.
Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation and corporate sources. Perform prospect research on foundations and corporations to evaluate prospects for corporate and foundation grants. Gather information necessary to report to corporate/foundation funders on current grant programs.
This position will require someone with the skills to maintain current records in database and in paper files, understand institutional history and programs. Work with Executive Director to provide development input for all written institutional materials including Annual Report. Grant Writer could be asked to assist with other fundraising projects as requested.
